Rise and Thrive. Maintaining positivity internally and externally can be very trying sometimes. We often say ” That person got me outside my character” and then your positivity and attitude are altered for the day. Your actions may have also negatively impacted the way those feel about you. WE are in control of our reactions and responses. That does not mean that we have to allow others to treat us negatively with no repercussions, it simply means we have to determine the appropriate way to handle it, while maintaining our positivity and spiritual wellbeing. Hi there, my name is Angel. I am a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist. My areas of experience and knowledge consist of mental health diagnosis, substance use disorder, family and child trauma, military family support, and caregiver support (mainly children).
I have worked in the community as a peer support as well as online forums. I also provide mentorship and volunteering with a local program in my area that serves those recently released from incarceration.
I have a pride and a passion for people. One of my favorite things to say is Rise and Thrive. We all are capable of being great in some fashion. Although many of us need some guidance along the way. I would love to be able to aid you in your growth so you can rise and thrive too!
